The first session I forgot to note down what we were doing, but it's fair to say it contained the licking of wounds in the aftermath of fighting all the things that were coming up through that hole. Possibly even fighting more of the same.
The second session, Elsiosi turned up being very concerned about Murmei. I think it was suggested everyone should pretend he died in the attack to get her to go away, but ... that didn't happen.
We decided we wanted to be the ones to go down the hole on an expedition. We're brave heroes, right? We are clearly best suited for the job! Which is also the reason we give Ordo Magica when we go to ask them permission to go down there. They make us take some old, scary-looking wizard with us.
Funnily enough, Elsiosi didn't fancy joining us down the hole. Sucks to be her?
GM: “Beast Lore person!”
Player: “It’s a me!”
“Is Murmei dumb enough is the question.”
“Yes.”
“He’s been there for years and only learned two spells.”
“One.”
“Please don’t listen to me, I’m a bad influence.”
“How do you know all these Jessica witches are dead?”
“It’s not a very good alarm if it kills the people it’s warning …”
“Ambrians – not only racist to elves.”
“It’s the most impressive thing Deadorna has seen Murmei do. Make of that what you will.”
Valgai: “So Elindra, about not dying …”
Elsiosi: “Is Murmei okay?”
Elindra: “Yes, he’s fine.”
Player: “Because he’s DEAD now!”
Murmei: “You can come with us if you like. The more the merrier. Just don’t get eaten.”
Player: “Why, oh why do I keep finding these people?”
GM: “Because you bought the skill that gives you information you didn’t ask for.”
“She’s looking at her with a smile that suggests your insides should be on the outside.”
Player 1: “You need to make a Discreet roll, because that’s bullshit!
Player 2: “What?! That he’s not interested in his sister?!”
Player 3: “It’s all gone a bit Lannistery in here.”
“Game of Symbaroum. You play the game or you get corrupted.”
Deadorna: “Can we just get Murmei laid so he can start thinking with his brain and not his dick?!”
GM: “Elsiosi got Persuasion 21 (!) while trying to seduce Murmei.”
Player: “Rolled or has the stat?!”
GM: “Stat.”
Player: “Fucking hell!”
GM: “You wanted an Arch Enemy.”
Murmei: “She’s my arch enemy?! But she’s so pretty!”
GM: “I gave you the prettiest one.”
GM: “I don’t know how to play someone who is supposed to be that persuasive.”
Player: “You can always do your Carmilla voice and then at least we’ll be freaked out?”
“I think that’s an overreaction, and I’m talking here as the barbarian girl whose solution for everything is to kill them.”
