So, umm, bad things happened.
Well, there was thing thing called the Prometheus Project, which can allegedly extend Juicers' limited lifespans. This was appealing to Donna, for obvious reasons.
Then ... well it came to the point where she was fined for not being able to show her papers, she went to pay it, was asked for her papers again (we were still waiting for the new forgeries), and shit kicked off. She destroyed a toilet which caused the building to go into lockdown. Gorbash set off a fusion block outside, blowing a crater in the street and taking not just a couple of Coalition State soldiers with it, but a number of civilians. Seeing as how he sort of can't differentiate between civilians and soldiers because they're all Coalition Staters (basically "all Germans were Nazis") ... the characters with a bit more fixed moral compass (read: Elyssia and Jayson) are ... not very pleased.
Oh, and Gorbash doesn't like haute cuisine. It's too bland for him. It's like what an iced bun is to Swedes ...

You see tentacles coming out of the portal
Booker seemed suddenly eager to give his stuff to other people, perhaps anticipating his Chosen One-ness being the death of him. Well, that didn't pan out.
First of all, Gorbash and Booker found Rita's Horcrux in the astral room. It was guarded by something and it was kicking off, so Gorbash got out of there. He'd never explained exactly how you leave the astral plane before the Psychedelic Dreams drink's timer runs out, so he ended up having to go back in to get Booker. Eventually they both returned.
Rita was happy to save the world as she had her little soul urn back, so we headed toward the place where Gabriel had set up the big portal/gate thing. (Did we mention Ulmolf, prior to joining the party, was one of the people working on putting that thing together? *slow clap*)
A big bomb full of shrapnel was dropped on a hoard of zombies, and it got rid of Gabriel as well. Nxla was on the other side trying to get in, we slew zombies, held the gate together (ohai Ixchal!) and were generally very distracting until Rita could finish her magics.
World: saved. Party death toll: zero. We win! :D

Joining the very Special Agents Mulligan and Cully is a US Marshal, Robert E Bones, who has taken some time out from trying to hunt down Dr Richard Kimble. We're also going to get another player coming along in a few weeks, so that'll be fun.
Anyway, this time, we've been called to Hayden, somewhere in Nebraska, where we got caught in a freak hailstorm and needed to see a mechanic. A man claiming alien involvement went crazy and beat his wife to death. Might it have something to do with the big radio telescope array outside of town? There's only one way to find out ...

These are a collection of more quotes from 21 June 2011's Changeling: The Dreaming roleplaying session at Chimera. We just saved them for a rainy day, such as, when we've not had a session that week. Like this Tuesday. GM was missing, so we ended up playing some Munchkin (The Good, The Bad and the Munchkin to be precise) in store before calling it an early night. Quotes could probably be salvaged, but this is more fun.

Ever heard of @shitmydadsays? He ain't got nowt on British roleplayers! There are a lot of funny things going on whenever we roleplay at Chimera, so last night, I decided to start noting down the sort of crazy things the party said in or out of character, for the sheer hilarity of it.
Courtesy of the latest 1st Edition Deadlands adventure in 19th Century Weird West (Salt Lake City, to be precise), we bring you random comments from players and GM, along with a party consisting of an Alchemist Snake-oil salesman, a geriatric Gunslinger, a dynamite-obsessed Huckster, a Mad Scientist who's the spitting image of Wyatt Earp, and a high-falutin' Reporter. And a (now deceased) baddie we had captured for questioning purposes. Rock on, pardner!
