AltLottie came out to play, suggesting that maybe Angela had been mindwhammied by Julius at a previous date and that's why she was so, ahh, low on inibitions last session. (She was so forward even Frankie was thrown by it, although he didn't exactly complain at the time.) On the plus side, AltLottie also insisted on Val getting un-mindwhammied.
Julius also finally got the Charlotte situation, with his (presumed) relatives being Jeanine's ghouls. Allegedly. Is Jeanine the problem or is she being set up as being the fall guy? Is Charlotte the actual problem here, maybe? What game are they trying to play? We concoct a plan to meet Charlotte at Val's place (her being his sire and all) and watch her aura for clues. Maybe someone's mindwhammied HER?
Player: “Does he balance out my chakra?”
GM: “In a sense, yes.”
Val: “Why did I agree to meet up with that police guy in a public train station?! That’s fucking stoopid!”
“Everyone needs their own favourite psychopath.”
“And we’re glad to have you back, Val.”
GM: “Lottie, quickly roll … well, not quickly.”
GM: “I don’t make the rules, I just abuse them.”
Val: “The car’s armoured and has boot space for three bodies, it’s really good!”
Val: “I don’t want to be devil’s advocate here … Does the devil exist?”
“‘Water under the bridge’? Is that with frost on by any chance?”
“Way to make a girl feel irrelevant! ‘I’d be fine without her. Wouldn't make a difference, really’.”
Val: “If you don’t like the werewolf idea, I also know people who do arson.”
“What about holy water?”
“We could get Father Salerno to bless the Hudson.”
“I don’t think he’s powerful enough. Or devout enough. We could just sneak in like when we were kids and steal some water from the font.”
“Oh, he has even more real estate, who’d’ve thought?”
“She didn’t marry him for his property portfolio, did she? I ain’t sayin’ she’s a gold-digger.”
GM: “Well done for saying no to unsafe blood sex.”
GM: “It’s all uphill from here, guys.”
“It was Lottie and Julius’s first fight and Lottie wasn’t even there!”
“We’ve got your back.”
“But not with a knife!”
